Home and Garden To-Do for June
During summer, keep your grass at least 2-3 inches higher for a stronger root system.
Continue pruning evergreens, hedges, and shade trees.
Continue planting vegetables in weekly or bi-weekly intervals, and thin out and weed established vegetables for stronger growth.
Fertilize with water-soluble fertilizer.
Pinch back chrysanthemums for greater fall bloom.
Plant perennials and container plants.
Remove faded rose blooms and give roses a final fertilizing.
