A resort property where ownership or use is shared among numerous owners.

/Timeshare/ is an informal name, not a recognized legal word, but the idea that all timeshares have in common is that each owner uses the property for part of a year, hence 'time-share'.

Two ways that a timeshare might be set up are fractional ownership or right to use.
