disclosure
A telling of facts that are relevant either to the value of a property, or to the decision-making of a buyer in choosing to buy that property.
For example, if the foundations of a property have sunk because of an underground stream, but have since been repaired, that must be disclosed.
Another example is when an agent owns or partly owns a property that their client is considering buying. In this case they are also bound by their fiduciary duty to the client.
