July 2010: Prices remain stable
The slowing of sales has continued and there is no doubt that we've returned to the normal seasonal pattern of a down-turn in summer. The recent hot weather seems to have had an influence as well!
Prices have stabilized for the time being, and interest rates have not changed drastically, just a slight rise. Nobody knows whether interest rates will continue to rise or will fall again, and so nobody can predict whether prices will go up or down either. If you're thinking of making a move, beware of sudden changes in the market.
