June 2010: The silver lining to a slowdown

We are now well into the summer market and, as always, sales have slowed down. Prices are stabilizing, and it appears later this summer the market will slow down further. However, there is a silver lining to this slowdown for buyers and sellers alike.

The last nine months of price increases have left many people wondering about the future of the market, making it difficult to determine the right price for their home. With a slower market, the correct price is more obvious, so even though there is less value to be had, there is also less risk.
